Volunteers Wanted For 2020
Kitchen Walk

 

Event Planners     

Do you enjoy working with people? You might like to help:

  • Secure florists for homes

  • Secure vendors for homes

  • Secure tablescape designers for homes

  • Secure sponsors for the event

  • Secure registration locations and collect registration information from them

  • Secure advertising for the event’s program book

  • Distribute posters, flyers and yard signs

  • Distribute supplies (program books, aprons, etc.) to volunteers the day of the event

  • Act as a docent the day of the event, explaining the unique characteristics of the home to attendees

  • Coordinate the volunteer thank you party

Writers      

Do you like to write? We are looking for people to help with:

  • Press releases

  • Home and kitchen descriptions

Marketing

Do you want to help us get the word out about Kitchen Walk?  We would love help with:

  • Coordinating advertising in local magazines and newspapers

  • Securing articles in local magazines and newspapers

  • Securing press coverage regarding the event (prior to, day of, and recap)

Graphic Artists & Designers

Are you talented with design? 

  • Electronic communications regarding the event

  • Print advertisement (newspaper advertisements and posters)

  • Registration materials

  • The program book

  • Signage

Photographers 

We are happy to have photos:

  • Photograph events for publication on website, advertisements, etc.

  • Help with ongoing photo documentation projects

  • Digitize photos and documents

Step & Repeat Only - $1,000

Picture your company logo potentially featured behind 1,000 walk participants’ social media photos  next to the neighborhood’s premier homes featured on the Kitchen Walk. Again, this year, the Kitchen  Walk will include one step & repeat per home. 

Step & repeat listings can be sold à la carte or as an enhancement to any sponsor level 
Please note, the Step & Repeat Only opportunity does not include tickets to the Kitchen Walk 

Bootie Basket - $500 (One Available Per House)

All ticket holders must wear booties when walking through the homes on the tour. The baskets at the  entry and exit of each home will include a sign with company name/logo. 
This package also includes: 

  1. Opportunity to customize bootie basket and booties 

  2. 1 general ticket (with VIP wristbands allowing you to “jump the line” at homes) for the tour 

  3. Half page advertisement in the program book 

  4. Company name/logo, featured on:
